A Grade: These pins are basically flawless. There will be no major defects on this grade of pins. Slight imperfections may be noticeable if held at certain angles or under certain light. Loose top pin does not count as a flaw as long as the face of the pin is still in Standard grade condition. I grade the face of the pins, as that it what is displayed.
B Grade: These pins may have minor visible scuffs in the enamel, slight dips in the enamel, or specs in the enamel. Very minimal flaws.
C Grade: Pin has some flaws that are noticeable and major.
